We are looking for a warehouse / material handler who brings professionalism and accuracy to the position.

This position will include but is not limited to:

  • Material inventory and job staging
  • Check out and maintain tools and inventory on a small fleet of vehicles
  • Take a material list, fill it, and deliver it to a jobsite in a timely manner
  • Pick up and deliver material to various locations
  • Maintaining storage facilities
  • Tool inventory and upkeep
  • Vehicle maintenance (Keep up with a schedule for proper fleet maintenance)

Ideally someone who has:

  • Basic knowledge of miscellaneous electrical materials and  tools
  • An ability to drive a small dump truck and trailer. No special license required
  • An ability to prioritize daily tasks and see them to completion
  • Exceptional math and observation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • A firm grasp of basic computer programs
  • An ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Inventory, construction, and organizational experience.

This position will work closely with management to develop and improve existing procedures and policies, prevent losses, as well as odd and end jobs that may occasionally require some heavy lifting.  Ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, compiling balance, price and cost reports, and doing regular counts of all products.

The Electrician Apprentice assists with and completes electrical tasks.  They will assist the electrician in residential and commercial situations to come up with a resolution that is one hundred percent in accordance with the National Electrical Code (N.E.C.)  Helpers work alongside experienced electricians and are gradually given opportunities to complete tasks on their own until they are able to run a service van and electrical jobs on their own.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as an apprentice is preferred.  (Trade school counts)
  • Company holds the license for all electricians and apprentices
  • Submit and pass a criminal history check and a drug test
  • Formal electrical education preferred but not required
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
